Start with permission. Then prepare the sound.

Prepare an authorized voice reference and a review process that checks wording, delivery, and approved context.

A voice, with permission.

A voice reference is both a recording and an identity cue. A clean file does not establish authorization, and a similar-sounding output does not establish an approved statement. Treat permission, source preparation, and listening review as separate parts of the same workflow.

01 / Audio

Confirm the scope of permission

Use your own voice or a speaker who has authorized the intended cloning use. Agree on the script, context, and review expectations rather than assuming any recording can be reused for any purpose.

Do not use the workflow for fraud, harmful impersonation, or deceptive endorsements. Keep the authorization connected to the project materials.

02 / Audio

Choose intelligible source speech

Select a recording in which the speaker can be heard clearly without competing voices or distracting background material. Inspect the actual requirements of the connected workflow before preparing a final source.

This guide does not invent a required sample length, channel count, or file format. Those details should be supplied by the implementation.

03 / Audio

Keep the script separate from delivery notes

Provide the approved wording and make performance directions clearly distinct. Review names, numbers, and any phrase whose emphasis affects the meaning.

A natural-sounding performance can still introduce an incorrect word. Compare the recording directly with the script instead of relying on general similarity.

04 / Audio

Listen for more than identity

Check pronunciation, pace, pauses, abrupt changes, and audible artifacts. Evaluate the result in the environment where it will be used, not only in isolation.

If the speaker’s review is part of the permission, complete that review before publication. Do not treat a technically generated file as a finished approval.

05 / Audio

Add an accessible demonstration

A useful example includes authorized source speech, the generated output, and transcripts. Explain which recording is the input and which is the result.

Do not use a silent player or simulated waveform as evidence. Actual playback controls should appear only when there is a real media file to hear.

06 / Audio

Check availability before starting

Open Audio & Voice Cloning under Audio to prepare a permitted reference, script, and consent confirmation. Verified example media is marked Missing until supplied.

Studio and existing tool backends remain unchanged. A published workflow page is not a connected generation tool; check its availability notice before starting.

A direction you can adapt

Example direction

Use the speaker-authorized reference for the approved script. Keep the delivery measured and conversational. Review pronunciation, wording, and pacing with the speaker, and do not publish the result outside the authorized context.

An example brief to adapt, not the recorded generation prompt for the displayed illustration.

Keep this close

Permission is not an optional input.

  • Confirm the authorized script and use.
  • Choose a clear source, then check the real input requirements.
  • Review wording and delivery, not only resemblance.
  • Use real recordings and transcripts for the demonstration.
