Video inpainting is not automatically the same as running an image edit on one frame. The region and its surrounding context change through time. A replacement has to remain coherent as the subject, camera, and lighting move.

Time changes the meaning of a mask
A region selected in one frame may move, rotate, or become hidden in the next. A video workflow needs a way to account for that behavior rather than treating every frame as an unrelated image.
This page does not promise a particular tracking or masking control until the backend is connected and verified.

Occlusion needs careful review
When another object crosses the target, the edit must respect which element belongs in front. Incorrect boundaries can make objects appear to cut through one another.
Review those moments deliberately. They are often more informative than a long section in which the target is fully visible and relatively still.

Do not borrow the image tool’s guarantees
The existing Inpaint Anything route is retained for the image workflow. Its presence does not establish that video inpainting is currently available.

Do not assume that. Image and video workflows have different temporal requirements and need separate verification.
Why keep the older video-inpainting URL?
The path is preserved in the review design so it can be promoted without a future URL change. It is not published as an available feature now.

The source footage, a clear explanation of the selected region, and the actual edited clip across difficult movement and occlusion.
