Choose the source range

Upload the clip and trim the 5–15 second range you want to edit. The selected range provides the motion, timing, structure, and soundtrack.

Choose the edit mode

Use Balanced Edit for a stronger appearance change, Preserve Motion when the source movement should stay especially close, or Timed Edit when the change should begin later in the range.

Add optional visual guidance

Supply an already-edited frame to skip automatic frame editing, or add up to three appearance references when DeepAny should create the edited frame for you.

Review synchronized moments

Compare source and result at the same moments. Check subject identity, object geometry, camera movement, timing, and whether the requested appearance remains consistent.

Balanced Edit favors the requested appearance

Balanced Edit creates or accepts an edited frame at the start of the selected range, then uses the source clip to guide motion and scene structure. It is the default when the visual change matters most.

Preserve Motion leans harder on the source

Preserve Motion starts from the encoded source video rather than generating from an empty video latent. The approved edited appearance remains a guide while the source carries timing, pose progression, and camera movement.

Use it when the exact movement matters more than giving the model maximum freedom to redesign the shot. The GPU-verified cyclist example keeps the bicycle motion and framing especially close to the source.

Timed Edit can begin later

Timed Edit is for changes that should not exist from the beginning of the selected range. DeepAny keeps the original frames before the chosen time, creates or accepts the edited anchor at that moment, then generates the continuation from there.

In the recorded example the cyclist remains in the original orange shirt before 2.5 seconds. The cobalt-blue continuation starts immediately after the selected change point.

Which Video Edit mode should I start with?

Start with Balanced Edit for most appearance changes. Choose Preserve Motion when source movement and timing should stay especially close. Choose Timed Edit when the change should begin later in the selected range.

Can I provide my own edited frame?

Yes. Edited frame is optional. When supplied, DeepAny skips the automatic frame edit and uses your image as the approved appearance anchor. In Timed Edit it is anchored at the chosen change time.

What are Appearance references for?

Add up to three images when the requested object, wardrobe, character, or environment should follow a visual reference. In Preserve Motion and Timed Edit they are used while DeepAny creates the edited anchor frame.

Does Timed Edit change the frames before the selected time?

The current Timed Edit path keeps the source frames before the selected change time unchanged, then joins the generated edited continuation from that point onward.
